Volunteer applications for Floriade 2011 have now closed.

We had a fantastic response from the community, with over 200 volunteers coming on board. Australian Capital Tourism wishes to thank all of these volunteers for their participation.

The success of Floriade and Floriade NightFest would not be possible without the dedication and enthusiasm of our wonderful volunteers.

About volunteering

Becoming a volunteer is a great opportunity to contribute to many aspects of Floriade which add value to the visitor's experience. You should consider becoming a Floriade volunteer if you enjoy gardening and horticulture, meeting new people, helping visitors, promoting Canberra and the Region, or being outdoors. Volunteers will be provided with training, uniforms and the opportunity to participate in the highly-popular 'bulb dig' – you can take home some Floriade bulbs! Volunteers are required to complete a minimum of six shifts.
