Weather

Spring temperatures in Canberra range from an average minimum of 5° to an average maximum of 19°. It is recommended that you dress appropriately and bring extra layers of clothing for warmth after sunset.

It is strongly recommended that you bring your own wet weather gear as the event will not be cancelled because of rain. The use of umbrellas during film screenings is not permitted as it obstructs the view of other audience members. Ponchos will be available for purchase from the Floriade Shop.

First aid

In the case of an emergency or for first aid, please notify a Floriade NightFest staff member. First Aid services are available at all times. Floriade NightFest staff are easily recognised by their Floriade uniforms.

Floriade NightFest is located on a four hectare site and is accessible to wheelchairs. The circuit around Floriade is approx 1.6km and contains some loose granite pathways. Please wear sensible footwear and take all necessary precautions to prevent injury to yourself or those in your party.

Free parking for people with limited mobility is available adjacent to the Regatta Point entry (access off Commonwealth Avenue). Parking is limited and vehicles must display an authorised disability permit.
