During Floriade 2012, Commonwealth Park will again be transformed into the illuminated wonderland when Floriade NightFest returns.

Captivating lighting

Catch spectacular light installations like NightFest 2011 Storm of the Senses which recreated the experience of a rain storm with LEDs programmed to pulse to a brilliant soundtrack. Designed and created by world-class creative lighting designers Mandylights, this installation featured illuminated digital rain drops falling between the sounds of thunder and gusts of wind. You can be sure that NightFest 2012 will surprise and enchant you with new lighting installations.

Pack a picnic!

Gather your friends and family and head for the outdoor cinema in the park. A diverse selection of films and special features screens nightly on a giant inflatable screen. You can also take your Floriade NightFest experience to new heights by taking a ride on the giant 35-metre ferris wheel for breathtaking views of the illuminated park and surrounding cityscape.

Spring into it.

Sip cocktails and groove to tunes by a great line-up of DJs, all hand-picked to create the ambience of the perfectly chilled Butterfly Lounge.

Visit the Carnival Stage & Bar where comedians, acrobats and entertainers will have you in stitches.
