See Floriade transformed into an illuminated wonderland where breathtaking lighting sprawls from the garden beds featuring more than one million blooms into the trees and skies above.
Feel like you’re in the eye of the storm when the spectacular new Storm of the Senses light installation in the surrounds of the Rhododendron Gardens recreates the experience of a rain storm. Designed and created by world-class creative lighting designers Mandylights, this installation features illuminated digital rain drops falling between the sounds of thunder and gusts of wind throughout the park. See the whole installation spring to life in a series of vivid lighting displays set to a dramatic musical soundtrack. Environmental EfficiencyEnergy efficient LED lights are used in Storm of the Senses, en masse consuming less power each night than an average water heater. Known for both their efficiency and longevity, these LEDs feature a life expectancy of around 100,000 hours each. Each set of 64 LED fixtures is housed in a recyclable, low weight clear plastic tube. Powered and controlled by a network of low-voltage cables, Storm of the Senses is highly energy efficient and as environmentally friendly as possible.
